Each module lasts for an hour and a half, and includes explanation of the theme, exercises and worksheets that the participants can use to work on them.

Module 1:Organize Your Space

My experience has shown me that lack of organization is often part of the reason why you are struggling for time. If we clear that out first, then we have a clean slate to build on, and you will already have reduced your level of stress. In this session, we will cover the principles of organizing your home or office, and give you a detailed how-to for doing it on your own, from strategic planning to execution. Worksheets will give you reminders of the principles and planning support, so that you can start to work on it right away. Be aware that, in many cases, this is not a one-day job, and that you will be working on this step for a while.

Module 2: Organize Your Papers

Papers are a never-ending scourge of modern life! And are so pervasive that they deserve their own session. Here, we will look at the different stages papers go through, how to plan for those stages and, most importantly, how to make it easy for you to decide if this is a paper you need or can throw away. Worksheets will give you a summary of paper organization and exercises to help you set up your system to deal with papers.

Module 3: (Re-) Discover Your Goals and Make Them Happen

With all the things we need to deal with on a daily basis, it's all too easy to lose track of the big picture, but it doesn't need to be this way! This session will allow you to (re-) define what your goals and dreams are, and how you can make them happen, even if you have very little time available. Exercises will help you unearth those goals and create action plans to implement. Worksheets will help you work on it more in depth after this module.

Module 4: Optimize Your Day

Sometimes, the things that overwhelm us are in the small, daily grind, rather than in the big things. In this session, we will look at your weekly schedule, assess how well (or not) it serves you; examine what are the things that need to be on it, and what are the things that you could let go of. We will also discuss the "master schedule," my secret weapon to help make all of that crystal-clear. We will start to work on your master schedule during the session, and the worksheets will allow you to complete it after the session.

Module 5: Examine Your Tasks and Routines

Tasks and routines are often done a certain way out of habit, legacy reasons or simply absence of reflection on the most efficient way to do them. We will look at your different tasks and routines, to make them more effective and time-efficient. In particular, we will look at some of the most common problems I have found with my clients, and their solutions. Worksheets will give you the tools to examine your tasks and routines and find hidden efficiencies on your own.

Module 6: The Art of Delegation

As women, we are socialized to help, not ask for help. We will thus look at your schedule and tasks with an eye on who can support you in what you need to do, including some resources you may not have thought of. We will also look at how to delegate as efficiently as possible, whether you are delegating to your children or your employees. The worksheets will give you some ideas to start delegating differently, from who to delegate to to what to make sure you say when you delegate.

Module 7: Planning for Emergencies, Big and Small

Planning for emergencies is often something that we leave for later, or choose to ignore, because some of its consequences amount to admitting that it can happen. In this module, we will look at all common emergencies, such as sickness of a child when both parents have important appointments that day, to true catastrophes, such as a major fire in your home. We will see what to worry about, what can be left to fate, and how to prepare for such emergencies. The worksheets will give you checklists, resources and ideas.

Module 8: Develop Strategies to Prevent Stress From Taking Hold

However organized you are, emergencies will happen, and stress may creep up in your life. This module will be devoted to stress, what it is, how it comes up, how to measure it and how to fight it. You will be given strategies to reduce stress when it happens, and habits that can prevent stress from affecting you. It is a must-attend module, would it be only for the exercises that we will do together. Your worksheets will give you a recap of exercises that you can do to reduce your stress on the spot, and help you plan for the on-going stress-reduction strategies that you can use.
